Once you start your application, you cannot save it and return later. Please make sure you have the documents below and are ready to apply before you begin.

You will need:

• Proof of identity: for example, a passport, birth certificate, Australian driver licence, adult proof of age card, other government-issued photo ID, or non-Australian government-issued ID with visa documents or proof of citizenship.
• Proof of residential address: if your current address is not shown on your ID, provide a utility bill, rates notice, lease agreement or bank statement showing your name and address.
• Quote for the goods or services you need: provide at least one quote from an ABN-registered supplier. The quote must include the item or service name and total cost including GST.

You may also need:

• Parental consent form: if you are under 18, you must provide a parental consent form signed by your parent/guardian.
• Employment offer: if you have one, provide a copy of your employment offer.
• Supporting documents: if you are applying for a driving test, driving lessons or a security licence, you will need evidence of your existing learner permit, logbook or security qualifications.
